When you play Maple Ridge as a member, guest, or outing participant, you'll encounter a professional staff that tries hard to make your entire experience pleasurable, from the front-counter folks to the Grille staff, from the course marshals to the beverage cart girls. We try to learn your name and your preferences and build a relationship that lasts from there.

       We represent a niche in-between the public-course and country club experiences. That is, we have a high-quality golf course (co-designed by 1987 Masters winner, current Champions Tour star and Columbus resident Larry Mize) that's professionally maintained year-round, with a number of amenities and privileges one might expect at resort-level courses. Yet, our price structure allows us to remain attractive and accessible to golfers of all skill, experience and age levels.  Our membership is extremely diverse, and we pride ourselves on being pro-military and youth-friendly.  If an individual or family golfs avidly and often, Maple Ridge initiation fees and monthly dues are well within most household budgets, and in fact, represent a terrific bargain.

      In particular, we offer stunningly low rates for Students and younger adult golfers, who never would have thought they could afford to belong to a private golf club!  Maple Ridge has a long history and tradition of developing high school and middle school golfers, including LPGA veteran Angela Jerman, Auburn freshman and current SEC women's runner-up Haley Wilson and almost all the 2009 Bi-City boys and girls golf teams as chosen by the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer.  That trend continues as ten local golfers representing Columbus and Northside High Schools compete in the Georgia AAA High School Boys Championship May 10 at Maple Ridge.
